Zip up your fear of…Zippers Your Fantasy Bag

Do you have a long-standing fear and dislike of zippers? Have you always dreamed of a purse that has pockets where you want them? A place to keep your cell phone and is the perfect size? Well, this class will address both those issues. We will learn four easy ways to put in zippers. (Yep! 4 ways.) And we will do it while making a purse that meets your specifications for perfection. Do you want cross body or adjustable straps? Prefer a zippered outside pocket? Want a special place for a pen so you do not lose it? Where do you want to keep your cell phone, protected or easy access? During this 2-day class we will define our preferences and then construct a bag to meet those preferences and put those easy zippers where we need and want them.
Materials fee: $25
All classes will:
- Cost $100 for two full days of learning
- Provide non-standard materials for a small fee
- Start each day at 9 am and end at 3 pm
- Give you setup time from 8:30 to 9 the first day
- Allow you to leave your machine setup overnight in a secured location
- Be held at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 1135 12th Street, Sparks, Nevada 89431 with easy parking and access
- Provide a tool and supply list after registration
- Present a project that can be completed during class
- Have a mobile quilt shop available for extra supplies or needs
- Provide a refrigerator and microwave for you to prepare your lunch
